Qigong Study Tour to China and Tibet

Palace of the Celestial Dragon

March 27th through April 9th 2012

Join us for a journey into Qigong as we travel to China and Tibet. Grandmaster Zhang will be opening his China retreat center (The Palace of the Celestial Dragon) on Mount Qingcheng outside of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.

  • View the scenic, snow covered mountains of Aba in Tibetan Sichuan.
  • Visit authentic Buddhist temples & dance with Tibetan people.
  • Visit exotic Chengdu and the Temples of Confucius & Laozi.
  • Relax in hot springs, bathe in waterfalls and meditate in caves.

Teacher's Certificate & Acupuncture CEU's (California only) available.

Master Zhang Grandmaster Zhang's retreat center, the Palace of the Celestial Dragon, is located 2 hours from Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, China. Built in traditional style by Master Zhang in 1994, it is located on Mt. Qing Cheng, near the highlands of Tibet.

The diverse program of ancient Chinese healing traditions includes classes in Medical Qigong, Martial Arts, Tai Chi and Acupressure Massage taught by Master Zhang and resident instructors.

Instruction in traditional arts, such as calligraphy and herbology, can be provided by local experts for an additional fee.

Side Trips

We will also be taking a couple of trips, one into Tibet (which will take several days) and another to Mt Emei which is to the south.

Cost while staying at the China retreat center will be $200 a day for food, lodging and 3 hours of training.  You are welcome to come stay for the full 2 weeks or any part of those 2 weeks providing it does not conflict with the trips to Tibet and Mt Emei.  If you jouney to Tibet or Mt Emei with us you will have to cover your own expenses.  More information will be posted so that fees and travel dates are clarified.

Airfare is not included. Airfare to China is about $1,200.00, but varies with dates and departure location. You may arrange your own flight or book through our travel agent.
