Shamanic Tiger Qigong Workshop

Rowlett Texas Tuesday September 13th

This is the 3rd of a 4 class series; Grandmaster Yuanming Zhang will be teaching in Rowlett Texas.  He will be joining the Internal Alchemy group, which meets each Tuesday, to share his knowledge and lead us all in this ancient practice. 

Additionally he will be available for healing sessions although you will need to inquire in advance to set it up (takes an hour or so to do).  Qigong Tuina (like a deep massage with tendon plucking) and Dim Xue (aka Dim Mak - more of an energy healing) are available.

Shamanic Primordial Tiger Qigong

The roots of these methods date back about 5000 years to the Yellow Emperor who cultivated himself in the Qingcheng region which is where Master Zhang's family is from.  These methods have been passed down through his family since ancient times as the Zhang lineage was responsible for teaching the Imperial family.

Tiger Qigong will increase ones channeling abilities and improve their health as well as longevity.  It's especially well suited to healers who wish to be able to give more to their patients.

Shamanic and Primordial

Tiger Qigong is considered to be a Shamanistic method because of it's connection to the Tiger spirit.  Master Zhang will teach us to use our eyes and ears to expand ourselves and connect to the universal sub harmonics.  We'll also learn about some of the ancient artifacts and why they look the way they do, a lesson on ancient Shamanic art.  

The primordial aspect of the art has to do with increasing our bodies pre heaven energy, to replenish ourselves with primordial energy.

Class Schedule

• September 13th (this class)
• September 20th

This series of classes will be limited to an attendance of 12 students.  Taking the class with a partner is a good idea since there will be 2 person exercises, coming by yourself is also fine.

Class starts at 7:30pm although it's recommended that you arrive earlier (anytime after 7:00) to hang out and meet new friends.  This is a smaller more intimate group that will be meeting in a home.

From 7:30 pm until 8:30 pm Brian will lead us in stretching and Qigong.
From 8:30 pm until 10:00 pm Master Zhang will teach Tiger Qigong.

Feel free to arrive any time before 8:30. Translation will be provided as well.

Class fee is $40 per person (per class, 4 classes in the series).

Wear something comfortable and stretchy, bring a yoga mat if you like.  Use the sign up form below to register and we'll contact you.  Note that our space is limited so only 12 people will be able to attend,  if we receive a large response we may look into doing larger classes in the future.  If we are unable to accommodate you we'll hold on to your contact information and let you know when more workshops are available.
